Here is the ecological and sustainable solution against pigeons and crows: the Bird Control.

For our company, falconry is not only a job, but also a great passion. In the Swiss Falconry team, we are professional falconers with many years of experience behind us, now specialising in ecological Bird Control.

Falconers specialising in ecological Bird Control: why?

For some time now, man has been monopolising the planet, forcing nature to step aside and adapt to change. The use of advanced technologies has accelerated this process of domination, thus disrupting the natural life cycle of flora and fauna.

In particular, due to overpopulation and excessive pollution, many animal species that were previously in balance with their predators now live without them. As a result, they have necessarily changed and evolved, learning to coexist with humans.

These include pigeons and crows in Switzerland, which have learnt to use humans to their advantage, as a source of food, warmth and protection from potential predators. To this day, these two species coexist perfectly well with humans in towns and cities and continue to multiply in a completely unnatural way. Precisely because of their fast reproduction and territorialism, many other varieties of animals feel threatened by the huge flocks and flee.

The problem, however, does not end there. In fact, what is of greater concern to humans is the aggressiveness, noise and poor hygiene of crows and pigeons. Several urban areas have become completely inaccessible and unusable.

For these reasons, we have chosen to study the ancient art of falconry, introducing various innovative techniques and tools, such as drones and other devices, to harness the power and natural fear that these birds of prey instil against crows and pigeons.

How Bird Control works against crows and pigeons?

After carrying out a thorough inspection of the desired building or area, we develop a strategy to eliminate the presence of crows and pigeons.

Next, we implement the first phase of intervention: six times a week, for two consecutive hours, a team of birds of prey flies over the area concerned, chasing and intimidating the troublesome birds, so that they realise they are in an area that is dangerous for their survival and choose to live elsewhere.

Once this first phase has been completed, the second act consists of maintenance, where we continue to visit the site concerned, but less frequently, to prevent the more tenacious birds from returning to settle there.

Moreover, we know how intelligent and cunning pigeons and crows have become, which, if accustomed to seeing the same birds of prey again and again, can also get used to their presence and learn to recognise their intimidating and attacking methods. Consequently, we use different falcon and owl teams for our interventions and operate at different times of the day, from early morning until dusk.

Our methods are extremely effective and completely natural: we can guarantee a minimum 80% reduction in the number of birds during the first phase, with a further reduction during the maintenance phase, until their presence is completely eliminated.

For long-lasting results, we always advise not to interrupt the service within a limited period, but to let us carry out periodic maintenance work.

Our Company: our modus operandi.

Swiss Falconry can operate in almost any urban, agricultural or industrial environment. The only important factors for us are to have free access and maximum flexibility at different times of day in the area concerned, in order to operate correctly and effectively according to our methods.

However, should we realise that intervention in a certain area is dangerous for our birds of prey, we reserve the right to refuse, proposing an alternative solution to the problem. Indeed, our birds of prey are our colleagues whom we care for impeccably, every day, feeding them with top-quality food and supplementing their immune systems with vitamins. They live in ideal environments with the highest standards of hygiene and comfort.
